I made a trip to the USOEC and stopped by the Berry Events Center on NMU campus, this is where I used to train short track when I lived here, and seeing this rink made me want to start racing again. This next season is going to be lots of fun.
Presque Isle is one of the prettiest spots to visit in Marquette. It has great views in all directions of Lake Superior and most important of all tennis courts!
Its great to be home, and as soon as the weather gets better I’ll be out playing some tennis with my brothers and sister. Coming soon… Tennis Match Royale!

isn’t it funny the effect of a “home rink”, when you return after an absence..
the specific sights, smells, the color of the seats in the stands and the battered hockey boards, etc, it just calls up something in the heart..
I remember the best piece of advice you gave me about the Berry.
When you want to get an extra half hour of sleep go sleep in the skate rental room.
That place was great, it was warm and you didn’t get disturbed because nobody could see you in there.
